Delta to end service at Willard on Aug. 31
SAVOY — Delta Air Lines will end service to Champaign-Urbana on Aug. 31, the airline announced Wednesday.
The announcement came less than three weeks after the airline added a third Delta Connection flight between Detroit and Willard Airport in Savoy.
Two coyotes caught by traps at Heritage Park in Champaign
CHAMPAIGN – Animal traps, intended for coyotes, have been removed from Heritage Park on the west side of town.
The contractor hired for the work said he caught two over the past few days.

Director of A Woman's Place won't have job with merged women's shelters
A familiar face will be missing when two Champaign-Urbana women's shelters merge this week.
Tami Tunnell, longtime executive director of A Woman's Place, was not offered a position at the Center for Women in Transition, which officially assumes operations of A Woman's Place on Thursday.
