ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Rams have signed eight of their 2010 draft picks — including former Illini tight end Michael Hoomanawanui — and can now turn their attention to the big one: No. 1 overall pick Sam Bradford.

Details of new UI president's pact released

CHICAGO – The University of Illinois has formally signed the contract for incoming President Michael Hogan, with little in it that hasn't already been reported.

The contract was signed Tuesday and released Friday night.

Small fire, spill temporarily evacuate Abbott power plant, but cause no injuries

CHAMPAIGN – A chemical spill and small fire at the University of Illinois power plant caused temporary evacuation, but no interruption in services, according to Robin Kaler, UI spokeswoman.
