PURDUE: Shuttle end could change students' dreams
Rob and I recently tried a recipe for beer-can chicken from "The Big Book of BBQ."
It turned out so well that I thought I'd share the recipe with you. We made two birds instead of the three this recipe calls for and they turned out well.

URBANA – Einstein Bros. Bagels will open in Urbana on Tuesday morning, and the first 100 people in line can receive free sandwiches.
Doors will open at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, and the first 100 people in line will receive a coupon book good for one breakfast sandwich per week for a year. That's 52 sandwiches in one year.
DANVILLE – An increase in the number of domestic-violence offenders wearing electronic tracking devices has local probation officials making changes in their budget to pay for the equipment.
URBANA – Urbana police and Crimestoppers of Champaign County are asking for the public's help in finding information about a stolen wallet in Urbana earlier this month.
According to a police report, a man lost his wallet on an MTD bus in the area of Florida Avenue and Philo Road on June 7.
In fact, Bruce Weber shouldn't be surprised if Austin Jackson asks for a quick chat with Itch Jones or a brief tour of Illinois Field.
'I wouldn't mind looking around at the baseball facilities on all the visits, really,' Jackson said. 'If things don't work out with the draft, it's entirely possible I could be playing there, too.'
CHAMPAIGN – Illinois has stopped taking new applicants for the "Put Illinois to Work" program because the number of people seeking work has outstripped jobs available for them.
The program, announced in April, reimburses employers who make entry-level jobs available to people between 18 and 21 years old and to parents with children under 18.
