Ron Zook has his first bowl win. And his second winning season at Illinois. Winning a bowl game for the first time since 1999, the Illini blasted Baylor 38-14 at Reliant Stadium.

Fog and ice could mean dangerous travel
A double-whammy of dense fog and icy roads could cause serious traffic pileups in central Illinois over the next few days, especially Thursday.
The National Weather Service in Lincoln on Wednesday issued a dense fog advisory for the area.
HQ prediction: Illini 51-50
Overall
After losing by two, two and four points late in the season, the Illini get a close one to fall their way. Like Fresno State, Baylor will take an early lead before Illinois storms back. Look for a two-point conversion pass from Scheelhaase to Evan Wilson for the game-winner in a 51-50 game.
