Fronted by Season 5 "American Idol" finalist, Chris Daughtry, the group is touring in support of its current sophomore album, "Leave This Town," but it was a smash debut effort that put this North Carolina quintet on the map.

Following his strong run on "American Idol," Chris Daughtry and friends released their self-titled, debut album in November 2006. The record quickly climbed the charts, outselling the debut album of "American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks and reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 for two consecutive weeks. Led by the hit singles "It's Not Over" and "Home," Billboard later named it the top-selling album of 2007.
