74th annual Georgetown Fair schedule:

Wednesday

8 a.m.: Open and Junior Dairy shows, Open Sheep Show.

2 p.m.: Golden Wedding Day sponsored by WDAN Radio at Banquet and Conference Center.

4 to 10 p.m.: Commercial buildings open.

4:30 p.m.: Finals of Showmanship Contest and trophy presentation, Calf Scramble Grooming, Calf Scramble in the VanBuskirk Arena.

6 p.m. to close: Armband Night in carnival.

7:30 p.m.: The Classics IV sponsored by WITY and Warrick Ford.

Thursday

2 p.m.: Junior Livestock Auction in the VanBuskirk Arena. Reception for Junior Show Auction participants in Roy Ramert Building following sale.

4 to 10 p.m.: Commercial buildings open.

6 p.m. to close: Armband Night in carnival.

6:30 p.m.: Tractor and Truck Pull sponsored by WITY, Learnard Seed Service, Crop Production Services, Prairieland Farm Drainage and Dalenberg Farm Drainage.

7 p.m.: KISS Country Karaoke.

Friday

4 to 10 p.m.: Commercial buildings open.

5 p.m: Showing of Junior Dairy Goats (Dry Goats)

6 p.m. to close: Armband Night in carnival.

6:15 p.m.: Ping Pong Ball Prize Drop sponsored in part by KISS Country, Bunge Milling and Carpenter's Local 44 at the Helicopter Landing Area.

7 p.m. Motocross sponsored by Langley Trucking, Commercial News, 94.9 K-ROCK, Rick Smith Backhoe & Trucking, Prairie States Warehouse, Sidell Agri-Service and Martin Equipment.

7 p.m.: Showcasing Highway 341.

Saturday

8 a.m.: American Dairy Goat Association-sanctioned Senior Dairy Goat Show (milkers) at the VanBuskirk Arena.

8 a.m.: Registration for Pretty Baby Contest.

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Release Home Economics entries.

9 a.m.: Pretty Baby Contest sponsored Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School Class of 2004.

9 a.m.: Llama Show.

Noon to 10 p.m.: Commercial buildings open.

1 p.m.: Ponytail-Piggytail Contest.

1:30 p.m.: Pedal Tractor Pull.

1 to 5 p.m.: Kiddie Day at the carnival (Armbands).

5 p.m. to close: Armband Night in carnival.

6:15 p.m.: Rain Date for Ping Pong Prize Drop.

7 p.m.: Demolition Derby sponsored by Rock 94.9 and NAPA Auto Parts, G & K, Inc.
