Found Footage Festival coming to Art

CHAMPAIGN — The Found Footage Festival, a touring showcase of odd and hilarious found videos, will make its return to Champaign this week with a new show.

Hosts Nick Prueher and Joe Pickett, whose credits include The Onion and "The Late Show With David Letterman," will show off their 2012 lineup of found video clips and live comedy at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Art Theater, 126 W. Church St.

Tickets are $10 and are available at the door or in advance at http://www.foundfootagefest.com.

The Found Footage Festival showcases videos found at garage sales and thrift stores and in warehouses and Dumpsters throughout North America.

Pickett and Prueher host each screening in person and provide observations and commentary on these obscurities.
