Little Theatre presents Buddy Holly musical

SULLIVAN — The Little Theatre on the Square in Sullivan will present the musical, "Buddy — The Buddy Holly Story," this and next weekend.

The play tells the story of the three years in which Holly became the world's top recording artist and features more than 20 of Holly's greatest hits including "Peggy Sue," "That'll be the Day" and the Big Bopper's "Chantilly Lace."

Holly died on Feb. 3, 1959, in a plane crash. He was 22.

The play will be presented Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Oct. 31-Nov. 4. Call 728-7375 to buy tickets or order online at http://www.thelittletheatre.org.

Special Halloween performances are set for 2 and 8 p.m. Oct. 31. Prizes will be awarded for patrons who wear the best costumes to those shows.
