URBANA — The indoor Holiday Market at Lincoln Square Village will begin Saturday and continue for five more Saturday mornings through Dec. 15.
All items sold at the market — which runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. — are to be home-grown, baked or crafted within Illinois, said Shannon Beck, events coordinator for the Urbana Business Association.
More than 50 vendors have signed up to participate this year, and they'll be set up in the east, west and south wings of the mall, she said.
Items for sale will include produce, baked goods, jams and jellies, holiday decorations, handcrafted jewelry, blown glass, pottery, paintings, soaps, ornaments and pet accessories, including dog treats.
In coming weeks, Beck said, the market may include live entertainment.
Vendors interested in showing at the Holiday Market can find applications at http://www.urbanabusiness.com. Rules and regulations for vendors are also available at that site.
