Christmas country music show set for Saturday

McLEAN — The Illinois Country Music Association will host what it promises will be a new fast-paced Country Christmas Spectacular show on Saturday at the Mount Hope Community Hall on the square.

A meal will be served starting at 5 p.m., with country music performed during the meal by the association's entertainers. The Christmas Spectacular will start at 6:30.

Tickets for association members are $6 for adults for the show only and $3 for children age 4 to 12. Nonmember adults pay $7 for the show, and children 4 to 12 pay $4. Children 3 and younger are admitted free. The payment for the meal of spaghetti, dessert and drink will be by donation. A 50-50, cake and Christmas raffle and door prizes also are planned.

The ICMA is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote country, gospel and bluegrass music and country dancing and to enhance and improve the developmental potential of these performing arts in Illinois.
