Little Theatre show pays tribute to troops, vets

SULLIVAN — The Little Theatre on the Square will present, starting Friday, "Home for the Holidays," a new Christmas show that pays tribute to the men and women of our military.

Running through Dec. 16, "Home for the Holidays" will feature more than 50 holiday tunes performed by a cast of 18 adults and 30 children from central Illinois.

The show was written for the Little Theatre by Kelly Shook, who will direct and choreograph as well. She directed "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" and "The Pirates of Penzance" last summer.

Joshua Zecher-Ross, artistic director of the Little Theatre, will be musical director for the show, a tribute to troops past and present. It includes World War II-era music and dance.

Tickets are $37.50 for adults and $35.40 for senior citizens and children. To purchase, call 728-7375 or visit http://www.thelittletheatre.org.
