Musicians will lead holiday singalong on Thursday

CHAMPAIGN — Faculty members from the Community Center for the Arts will present, as part of the C4A Live at Indi Go series, a Holiday Season Sing-a-Long at 7 p.m. Thursday at Indi Go Artist Co-op, 9 E. University Ave.

Rob Krumm, Robin Kearton and Matt Croisant will lead the songs, from well-known standards such as "Jingle Bells" to "Blue Christmas." Everyone is welcome to participate.

Krumm plays guitar and bass with the national touring bands Creole Stomp and L'Esprit Creole. He developed the popular Guitar from Scratch class taught at the Community Center for the Arts in Urbana.

Kearton, founder and director of the center and the Bow-Dacious String Band, plays principal viola with the Champaign-Urbana Symphony and The Prairie Ensemble. She has performed with bands playing Argentinean tango, old-time, bluegrass, country, klezmer and cafe music.

Croisant plays with the old-time string band The Young and the Fretless and the blues/rock/soul trio Soul Feud. He also performs a solo show of acoustic folk, pop and rock music. At the Community Center for the Arts, he teaches group classes for ukulele and mandolins and works with the Bow-Dacious String Band.

C4A Live at Indi Go is a regular concert series at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month. The concerts are free and open to the public. For information, visit http://www.c-4a.org.
