Annual Spring Festival Setsubun today

URBANA — The Japan House at the University of Illinois has its annual Spring Festival Setsubun (set-soo-boon) today.

The event, free and for all ages, is from 1 to 3 p.m. at Japan House, 2000 S. Lincoln Ave., U. In an ancient Japanese custom, festival-goers will urge demons out and happiness in as they throw beans, enjoy a tea ceremony and sweets and engage in origami and Oni mask making.
