Danville Sweet Adelines to deliver singing valentines

DANVILLE — The Danville Show Chorus of Sweet Adelines will again present singing valentines to the community on Valentine's Day.

Those who choose to send a singing valentine to someone can choose from three songs: "Let Me Call You Sweetheart," "Ain't She (He) Sweet" and "What Would I Do Without You."

The Sweet Adelines will be singing all day and can start as early as 7 a.m.

It's the most rewarding performance of the year, according to members of the Sweet Adelines, as the singing valentines often lead to hugs, tears, laughs or embarrassment.

The cost is $25 for one song, and the Sweet Adelines give the recipients roses donated by Berry's Garden Center in Danville. A card is included with the name and wishes of the giver.

To reserve a spot, call Maureen at 474-0473 before Feb. 12.
