UI 'wearable art' show Saturday

CHAMPAIGN — The annual “Re-Fashioned: Wearable Art Fashion Show,” featuring clothes designed by University of Illinois students, will take place from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Ikenberry Commons, 301 E. Gregory Drive.

The show will take place in Room 2025B of the Ikenberry Commons. Students of Susan Becker, an adjunct professor, will present their “trashions,” made from creatively reused discarded clothing and items from the I.D.E.A. Store in Champaign.
 
Admission is free and open to the public.
