'Fiddler' production this week in Sullivan

SULLIVAN — The Little Theatre On The Square is presenting "Fiddler On The Roof" through next Sunday, which is Father's Day.

The musical, which opened the equity theater's 2013 summer season, is directed by Karla Shook and features Little Theatre favorite Jack Milo, a Chicago-based actor, as Tevye, the dairyman who must find suitable husbands for his daughters and has ongoing respectful debates with God.

"Fiddler" also features Therese Kincade of Charlestonas Golde, the wife of Tevye. Milo and Kincade are reprising their roles from the sold-out production of "Fiddler" at Eastern Illinois University.

The cast also incudes Kelsey Andres as Tzeitel, Glorry Kissel as Yente, Colin Shea Denniston as Motel, Andy Frank as Mordcha, Earl Halbe as Rabbi and Joshua Phan-Gruber as Perchik.

Adult tickets are $37.50; senior citizen and children's tickets are $35.40. To purchase by phone, call 728-7375, or purchase online at http://www.thelittletheatre.org.

The box office and theater are at 16 E. Harrison St., Sullivan, about 60 miles southwest of Champaign.
