URBANA — The University of Illinois Alumni Association is presenting the exhibition "Handmade Paper" featuring work by alumna Marjorie Roberts Alexander.

Alexander, who has bachelor's and master's degrees from the UI College of Fine and Applied Arts, started as a painter and later discovered the process of casting paper pulp.

She has taught her craft and exhibited her work worldwide and has served as president of the International Association of Paper Makers and Paper Artists.

The alumni center is open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
