DLO has auditions for "Rent"

DANVILLE — The Danville Light Opera will have auditions this weekend for its upcoming production of the musical "Rent."

The auditions will be at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Laura Lee Fellowship Hall, 212 E. Williams St., Danville.

People must be at least 17 years old to audition and be prepared to sing 24 bars (30 seconds) of a pop/rock song a cappella — no musical theater songs or selections from the show.
