Event to benefit Little Theatre

CHARLESTON — For the fifth time, the Mattoon, Charleston and Paris members of the Little Theatre on the Square board of trustees will host a cabaret fundraiser on Thursday evening at The Lifespan Center, 11021 E. County Road 800 N, Charleston.

The doors will open at 6:15 p.m. for drinks and food, and the show starts at 7. A live and silent auction will follow, to benefit the Sullivan theater.

The cabaret will feature the stars of the 2013 Little Theatre summer season, among them Therese Kincade, Heather Dore Johnson-Weber, John Stephens, Linda Podeschi and Kelly Sullivan, as well as music from the upcoming shows at the Little Theatre over the next year.

Tickets are $40 per person, $75 per couple or $200 for a table of six. To purchase tickets, call 728-7375. The proceeds will go toward programming at The Little Theatre on the Square in Sullivan.
