Mahomet native to compete on CMT reality show

You can watch a Mahomet native compete for love on national television starting Friday night.

Travis Leonard is a cast member on the CMT reality show "Sweet Home Alabama," where several men try to win over a southern beauty.

Leonard graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School before attending and competing for the track and field team at the University of Illinois.  He's currently a registered nurse and singer in California.

The season premiere of Sweet Home Alabama is at 8 p.m. Friday on CMT.
