REO Speedwagon concert rescheduled for this summer

NORMAL — The REO Speedwagon Rock to the Rescue Concert for Feb. 6 at Braden Auditorium is being moved to June 27.

The concert was billed as repeat performance of the show that raised more than $400,000 for the victims of the tornado in Washington and other central Illinois towns in December.

Because Chicago, which toured with REO Speedwagon over the summer, found it could include a Jan. 29 benefit in the schedule, REO Speedwagon moved their concert to June.

The free Jan. 29 Chicago concert will be held at Bloomington's U.S. Cellular Coliseum.

Tickets for the Feb. 6 REO show will be honored on June 27, and tickets are on sale now for the June show.

They are on sale at the Braden Auditorium box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, charge-by-phone at (800) 745-3000 or online at Ticketmaster.com.
