Forensics event set for Feb. 15

CHAMPAIGN — "Art Heist: Family Edition," a forensics event for kids and adults, is set for 1 p.m Feb. 15 at the Orpheum Children's Science Museum, 346 N. Neil St.

Participants will test their private investigator skills to crack a notorious art heist case and recover stolen paintings.

At the Orpheum Crime Lab, participants will get to learn forensic concepts such as dusting for and lifting fingerprints, fiber identification and ink testing.

This event is suitable for all ages. Admission is $8 for non-members, and a museum member discount is available.
