Fundraiser planned for DoCha music fest

CHAMPAIGN — An Intimate Evening of Chamber Music will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Indi Go Artists Co-op, 9 E. University Ave., C, to benefit the Downtown Champaign Chamber Music festival.

Tickets to the fundraiser are $50 each, of which $40 is tax-deductible. The event will feature a musical presentation by world-renowned musicians Stefan Milenkovich, a violinist, and Dmitry Kouzov, a cellist, and time to mingle with the artists while enjoying beverages and hors d'oeuvres.

The event will benefit DoCha, Champaign's free chamber music festival, which this year takes place April 11-13 at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Champaign.

The festival features adventuresome chamber music performances as well as educational and fun programs for children. All events are free; no tickets are required. Checks to the fundraiser may be made payable to Community Foundation of East Central Illinois DoCha and mailed to DoCha, P.O. Box 1394, Champaign, IL 61824.
