Singer plans 'eclectic, acoustic set'

URBANA — Singer Lauren Turk will return to Krannert Center for the Performing Arts for the second time, to perform from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday during the Krannert Uncorked event in the lobby.

She said she will present an "eclectic and acoustic" set that will feature her original music and tunes from her new band, The New History. She also promises to sing "crowd-pleasing covers" in three languages, highlighting French, American and Mexican culture.
