Indi Go exhibit presents art of recent EIU graduates

CHAMPAIGN — Starting Wednesday, the Indi Go Artist's Co-op will show work by three recent Eastern Illinois University art graduates in the exhibition, "Three Takes on Essence."

The artists' reception will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. The work will remain on view through Saturday, with viewing hours of 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.

The three artists are:

— Danielle Muzina, a painter from Cleveland, Ohio, who is interested in abstracting familiar home spaces to explore the relationship between the psychological and domestic interior.

— Christen Contario, a sculptor from Cincinnati. The works in the show represent the emotions related to her relationships with others.

— Erica Young, a painter from Danville, explores the relationship between herself and her female models, looking to present their stories from a feminist angle.

Indi Go is at 9 E. University Ave., C.
