At 2 p.m. today musicians will host the Blues Jam Benefit at Boomerangs Bar and Grill, 1309 E. Washington St., U, to help the family of blues singer Mary Clark, who died April 13. A $10 donation will be requested; there will be music all day.

Firestone building hosts art again

"Re-Fashioned," a free show from 7 to 7:45 p.m. Saturday in the Opera Rehearsal Room, Krannert Center, will feature UI students in Fashion Design and Experimental Fashion classes modeling clothes made from recycled materials. Amazing stuff!
