From radio-controlled airplanes to sunset sounds - and a demolition derby - Tim Mitchell's entertainment recommendations for the week ahead.

TUESDAY

The World Cup may be over, but animation fans can enjoy more Amazon fun with "Rio 2" coming out on DVD. The computer-animated musical adventure-comedy features the voices of Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Jamie Foxx, George Lopez and Tracy Morgan.

WEDNESDAY

Check out the Homer Farmer's Market from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in downtown Homer. The market takes place at the downtown Caboose Park.

THURSDAY

Learn to fly RC airplanes with free RC flying lessons provided by the Champaign County Radio Control Club. Lessons begin at 5:30 p.m. at the club's flying field, two and a half miles west of Mattis Avenue on U.S. 150. Organizers suggest bringing a hat and sunglasses.

FRIDAY

Come to the Champaign Park District's "Sounds at Sunset" at 6 p.m. Friday. Mike Ingram and Kayla Brown perform at Sunset Ridge Park on Boulder Ridge Drive, Champagin.

SATURDAY

A car and truck show, motorcycle rodeo, a concert by the Crazy Johnny Band and a demolition derby are among Saturday's highlights at the Champaign County Fair in Urbana.
