The Fox television show will conduct open auditions from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 8 and 9. You, too, can make a fool of yourself, but you can't get yelled at by surly celebrity judges; they're not part of the audition.

Pitbull

If you're a football fan, you know him from "We Are One (Ole Ola)" along with Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte, the official song of the 2014 World Cup. Or maybe you wear his fragrance. Good luck with that.

Florida Georgia Line

The album's first single, "Dirt," was released in July and by two weeks in has sold 281,000 downloads in the U.S.

Even these diehards have an "American Idol" connection. Appearing on the 2014 tour is special guest vocalist, American Idol Season 9 Finalist Siobhan Magnus. She joins the band for a "stratospheric version" of "Walk On." Also in the tour, Sweet, of "Ballroom Blitz" fame.
