R-4 Best Light Feature - Beep baseball comes to Champaign: Play now!

This report from WDWS reporter Scott Beatty profiles a unique take on the game of baseball that's geared for the blind.  The story aired on July 18th, 2014, on WDWS and WHMS.  The story utilizes both natural sound of a beep baseball game and interviews with beep baseball players.  Beatty's preparation for the report included researching and becoming familiar with beep baseball, and the airing of the report was a public service, as it provided promotion for a local service group.

The report's anchor lead reads as follows:  You'll have an opportunity to watch a unique baseball game tomorrow in Champaign, but the players won't be watching you. Scott Beatty has more.

The report's anchor tag reads as follows:  In between games of a doubleheader, which begins at 10 tomorrow morning, attendees will have an opportunity to be blindfolded and try beep ball for themselves. Admission is free.
