GREENVILLE — Braden Snyder threw for 430 yards and accounted for six Monticello touchdowns as the Sages overcame a sloppy first half to defeat Greenville 63-21 in a Class 3A quarterfinal game on Saturday afternoon.

Dynamic duo carries Sages in victory

MONTICELLO — Seniors Alek Bundy and Asher Bradd accounted for all seven of Monticello's touchdowns in a 49-14 home win against Anna-Jonesboro in a Class 3A second-round playoff matchup.

Bundy caught three TD passes from quarterback Braden Snyder and rushed for another as the Sages turned a 21-14 halftime lead into a 35-point win with 28 unanswered points in the second half.
