Uni High’s Scholastic Bowl team can now say it’s the top unit in the state of Illinois. The Illineks won the IHSA Class 2A state title, with a 430-390 victory over Rockford (Auburn) in Friday afternoon’s championship match at the Peoria Civic Center. Uni High went 2-0 in the preliminary session before easily dispatching Springfield, 760-80, to advance to the final.
