In the Mother Hood-- a place to go to laugh at yourself

You show me a mother without a humiliating potting training story, and I'll show you a kid still in diapers.

A mother's only defense is her wits, unfortunately, those are usually dimmed by sleep depravation.

Mothers from all over write about their experiences from birthday parties, sibling rivalry, and potty training to Mother's Day disasters, and the producers pick the best stories and produce episodes based that story.

The story lines center around three women; two sisters and a neighbor. "The perfect mom" is played by Jenny McCarthy, the best friend is played by Leah Remini (who played Carrie on King of Queens), and Chelsea Handler plays a single mom.

Want a minute to yourself? Just get a warm soapy wash cloth, call the kids over to you and say, "Come here sweetheart, let mommy wash your face." Guaranteed to make children disappear for up to 20 minutes. Then treat yourself to a laugh.
