Stranger than fiction

I have several co-workers, especially cops reporters Mary Schenk and Steve Bauer, who know true stories guaranteed to make you shudder. I'm shocked at some of the things they've seen and heard.

I'm always a little shocked at how crazy true situations can be, even compared to the wildest action film or drama.

This story about a man murdering another, faking his own death and stealing the deceased man's identity is an extreme example.

Seriously, how could anyone make something like that up?

This is a terrible story. I can't even imagine someone doing something like this, especially to get out of a debt. There are other ways to get out of debt.

Personally, Creed Bratton has never declared bankruptcy. When Creed Bratton gets in trouble, he transfers his debt to Williams Charles Schneider.

Creed doesn't need to declare bankruptcy as he cuts expenses by sleeping at the office. In addition, he has the lucrative fake ID making scheme.

But I wouldn't put it past Creed to fake some a murder to get out of debt. He'd probably try to make it look like he decapitated himself while driving drunk and getting hit by a semi.
