No LiveBlog Center tonight. No game tonight. But we do have polls to vote on (not tonight, but last night). The News-Gazette has a vote in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.

Here is the AP poll from Monday:

So we're starting a new tradition. Every Monday in this space, we'll post the News-Gazette's Top 25. Then you can tell us how right we are or wrong we are. Or, why we have these teams ranked higher than our fellow voters: Virginia/Nevada/Connecticut (we also like Oklahoma State, but there's no room), and these teams lower: Syracuse/Wichita State/Marquette.

Be careful with that #19 vote Paul. You don't want to be like the Jazz beat writer that got accosted last year for being the only one not to vote for Chris Paul for NBA rookie of the year...

My question is, does Illinois look better to AP voters because they are winning big(ish) with the guys they are using, or worse because they still don't have their top(?) three back?

Related question... I guess McBride was officially back with the team after Sunday's game. Should this have played into voters minds?
