Meacham and Semrau are expected to join their AIA teammates in Xenia, Ohio, for a short camp Aug. 9-11. From there, they will travel to Germany for six games. Others on the team include Chris Kramer (Purdue), Brandon McPherson (Valparaiso), Demond Carter (Baylor) and Mitch Platt (Oregon).
Meacham, who will be a junior next season, has played with Athletes in Action on a previous occasion. Semrau missed most of his freshman season after chest surgery in November but is expected to apply for a medical redshirt.
An AIA spokesman said Tim Maloney, associate head coach at UMass, and Jason Hawkins, assistant coach at Valparaiso, will coach the traveling team.
