Crandall Head was a headliner at the Big Dipper holiday tournament last week. Today the Illini hope to entertain the highly regarded Rich South sophomore.

Head is here at the Assembly Hall with family for the Illinois-Tennessee State game that tips off at 3. Late last week, coach Bruce Weber was in Richton Park to watch Head score 21 points in a win against Thornton. The 6-3 wing has said on several occasions the UI is the frontrunner in his recruitment.
