Dee Brown in the Hall tonight

Quick note before tipoff here at the Assembly Hall. Dee Brown is in attendance tonight. Right now he's talking with another former Illini, Kenny Battle. Dee's on a break from his first season in Turkey.

Illinois commitment D.J. Richardson, a junior at Peoria Central, also is expected to be in attendance.

The sports information office issued about 25 extra media credentials for tonight's game.

And as expected, Eric Gordon, the headliner, walked onto the court at 6:54 p.m., to a chorus of boos during warmups. The Orange Krush, which packed its courtside seats soon after the doors opened, chanted "Traitor, traitor, traitor" to the Indiana freshman. Now they're chanting "Liar, liar, liar." Should be interesting.
