Laurel Prussing's campaign for mayor of Urbana was scheduled to begin running television ads today on five stations -- CNN, CNN Headline News, Discovery, The Histiry Channel and The Weather Channel.
I haven't seen the ads yet so I don't know what they say, or how good the production is. I'd be interesed to hear what you have to say.
Neither Shirley Hursey nor Tod Satterthwaite have bought any cable TV time, and I don't believe they will. Satterthwaite is running radio ads, but Hursey's campaign is virtually invisble. She probably won't be as much a factor as I had earlier anticipated. That's good news for Prussing who needs all the anti-Satterthwaite votes for herself.
