David Gill, the Democratic candidate in the 13th Congressional District, holds a 43 percent to 37 percent lead in a poll taken late last week, according to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
The automated poll, taken by the DCCC, was of 458 likely voters in the district. It was taken on Oct. 11 and 13. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.6 percent.

Updated polling on the 13th Congressional District race, released today by the campaign of Democrat David Gill, says that contest is a dead heat, with Gill drawing 40 percent to 39 percent for Republican Rodney Davis and 8 percent for independent John Hartman.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is putting $500,0000 into the 13th Congressional District race with an ad going after Democrat David Gill for his support of President Obama's health care overhaul and for a plan that "raises taxes on job creators."
