Final Frerichs, Myers numbers are in

Final expenditure numbers for the 52nd District race last year:Mike Frerichs (D) $1,130,342.03
Judy Myers (R) $790,369.93
Thes expenditure totals cover the entire two-year election cycle (2005, 2006).
I'll be writing more on this in The News-Gazette.
This was believed to be the most expensive Illinois Senate race last year.

You forgot to add "in-kind" contributions to the spending totals. That's money spent by others (usually caucus leadership) on the campaign's behalf.
Frerichs had $79,572.45 in in-kinds, bringing his total spending to $1,192,455.98 during the second six months. He spent $1,112,883.53 in cash. He had $8,009.93 in in-kinds during the first six months and spent another $14,522.81 cash. Grand total: $1,214,988.72
Myers had $241,310.42 in in-kinds, bringing her total spending in the second 6 months to $962,316.35. She spent $721K in cash, according to her report. She had $15,657.62 in in-kinds during the first 6 months and spent $60,240.00 cash. Grand total: $1,038,213.97.
