The Second Annual Arthur Home and Garden Expo is scheduled for Thursday through Saturday, March 10-12, at the Otto Center, one-half mile south of the four-way stop on Route 133 in Arthur.
Hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. A shuttle to and from the Otto Center will be available on Friday and Saturday at Arthur Welcome Center, formerly the Arthur Visitor Center, in downtown Arthur.
More than 55 home- and garden-related businesses located within a 50-mile radius of Arthur will participate in the event, which is sponsored by the Woodwrights Guild, a cooperative of area woodworking shops.
Visitors will find businesses that offer almost every product or material associated with home building, home improvement and gardening.
This includes garage doors, windows, building materials, cabinets, air conditioning and furnaces, home builders, glass designers, furniture, hardware, outdoor furniture, storage buildings, landscaping, lawnmowers and more.
Food stands will operate during the expo. Items include soup, sandwiches, French fries and fresh pies, according to David Kaufman of Four Acre Wood Products.
Anyone planning new construction, home improvement, landscaping, or gardening projects this year should visit the Arthur Home and Garden Expo to learn about the newest products and materials available from area businesses.
