Final Prediction Standings and Our Winner!!
Well, it's finally over...
You can breathe a sigh of relief now.
When the year started, I didn't exactly know what to expect with this team, but a double digit loss season wasn't even crossing my mind. This team took such a step backward that it will take a giant leap forward just to get back on track. I say just start Aaron Bailey next year at QB and see what happens. What do you got to loss, besides ten more games?
With football over, that means our predictions are done. Here are just a few interesting facts about what you guys did this year.

You guys definitely kept me busy this season. A total of 106 different people made a prediction at some point this season. Of those 106, 26 made a prediction in every single game, while 11 more predicted in 11.

What was our overall prediction record? How about 521-155! That is a correct prediction percentage of 77.1%! If you were to shrink that into 12 games, just like in a college football season, our record was 9.25 – 2.75. We're going bowlin'!

Of all the people who predicted in at least nine games, seven never chose incorrectly.

While it seemed pretty obvious that Illinois wasn't going to win much in the second half of the season, it is still impressive to have four people go a perfect 12-0. While the current system in college football would make it difficult to determine a winner with four undefeateds, our tie-breaker, the Real Spread Difference Total, was able to do that for us. I know I've said it a few times over the course of the season, but I want to thank you guys for taking time to read the blog and make predictions. I might not be what you would call an expert, but I hope you were able to enjoy your visit to this page on IlliniHQ. I am sad to inform you that there will not be a basketball prediction blog this season. I'm going to be moving out of state soon and won't be around to do the blog. I will tell you more about that in a final entry.
