Longtime local media personality Ken Johnson, who is currently working for a Bloomington radio group, is Jim Sheppard's replacement as Illinois football public address announcer.

Johnson found out Friday that he will work the upcoming spring game and will take over in September handling regular-season games.
Sheppard had his signature "First and 10 Illini" call during football games. Johnson said he will follow the plans laid out by university officials.
Johnson is already familiar with Illinois PA jobs, working for wrestling the last five years and baseball for two years.

Don't know where else to say this. I love your(Bob) insight on the podcast, but Rossow makes it almost unbearable to listen to. What is his problem? Everything you say he seems to disagree with, just for the sake of doing so even though you are always right. I don't get it. There is a reason you are the expert and he is an editor. He should accept his role or quit the podcast.
