Another round of Guest Comics!

Starting in today's comics page we'll be giving a warm welcome to our two newest Guest Comics, Cul de Sac and Cow and Boy!

Creator and 2011 National Cartoonists Society Cartoonist of the Year Richard Thompson brings readers Cul de Sac, which chronicles the absurdly wonderful adventures of the Otterloop family. Alice, Petey, Mom and Dad live in the cookie-cutter suburbs not far from the interstate, and their day-to-day life unfolds with simple joys, tiny infractions and wonderful moments of gentle bliss. Bill Watterson, creator of the much-beloved Calvin and Hobbes, calls Cul de Sac "a real treat."

Cow and Boy, from creator Mark Leiknes, explores the unlikely friendship of a boy and his cow. This strikingly funny strip stars Billy, a regular boy who enjoys fishing, biking and hanging out with his best friend named Cow, who just happens to have four stomachs and a set of udders. Fans of Peanuts and Red and Rover will want to check out Cow and Boy's buddy humor down on the farm.

Our thanks go out to all of the readers who have taken the time to give us their thoughts on our recent Guest Comics, Arlo & Janis and Dog Eat Doug. As always, we want to hear more opinions.
