Story coming about Ping Wu from Project Runway

In Sunday's paper, we'll have a story about Ping Wu, a designer on Project Runway who worked and lived for four years in Champaign-Urbana.

I interviewed Ping today, and she was friendly, talkative and open. Here's what she had to say about her time spent living in Urbana and working at Carle Foundation Hospital:

"Champaign-Urbana is very impoprtant to me. I have traveled almost every month in different cities around the world. Sometimes I feel like I'm homeless. Champaign-Urbana is the only city in the whole world that gives me a sense of home."

She said she often visits friends in the area.
