Looking for a new blog title
We've been talking a lot about blogs here at The News-Gazette, and Christine Des Garennes suggested that the name of my blog doesn't really match my content.
She's right. “Area Extras” is a holdover from when I worked on The News-Gazette's state desk. I've been on the features desk for more than a year now, and don't blog about much in our regional circulation area.
So I'm asking you, dear reader, do you have any suggestions for a new name? Christine suggested: “HomeEc, Arts & Crafts, Abode, Handmade Champaign, or my fav, to quote the Beastie Boys, 'She's Crafty!'”
A couple others suggested “Dickinson's Great Expectations,” “Dickinson's Tales of Two Cities” and “Creative Crafts.”
I'm leaning toward “Handmade Champaign,” but I figured I'd open myself to any of your suggestions before deciding. Anyone have any other ideas?
