A mirrored wall makes our hallway seem even bigger

We are one step closer to having our hallway redecorated. We hung mirrors on the wall opposite our sliding barn door this weekend, and I love how they look.

Blog PhotoWe used mirrors we had or made slight changes too - on the top is the mirror I painted and faux finished, and the window is a mirror Rob made for my birthday a couple years ago. It's actually a window from our house - we found it in the attic when we were installing insulation. It used to be in the dormer atop our front porch, but a vent replaced it.

The bottom mirror is one from my parents, and I spray painted the frame copper. You can't see the finish well, but it's so pretty and metallic.

And that last small mirror, I made last week. I'll be blogging with directions for how I did it tomorrow.

I'd say we're about 95 percent done redecorating our hallway. I have some ideas for a different light fixture, but that probably won't happen for a while.

Along with hanging these mirrors, I also scrubbed down our bathroom this weekend. Hanging the barn door created a lot of dust, so a deep clean was necessary and overdue. It made our bigger space seem even more luxurious.
