I've always found myself gravitating toward graphic, geometric color patterns. But it wasn't until I really started pinning away on Pinterest that I realized - I love patterns with red and white stripes.

Maybe it's patriotism. Maybe it's my crazy love for Christmas and candy canes. An innate love for "The Cat in the Hat?" Or maybe I'm nuts.

Whatever the reason, I love red and white together. This explains my love for old-fashioned-style ticking fabric (which I used to make a jewelry display a few years ago). And makes me think that maybe I should paint my kitchen bright white, to make my red fridge pop more.

Anyone else find themselves inexplicably drawn to a certain pattern?
