This weekend, I cooked so much I felt like every dish in my kitchen was dirty. It's been a while since I've had time to do that, so it felt great.
I had a fun conversation the other day about collections.
It started with such a simple question, "What do you collect?" and turned into a fun, animated conversation.
Which made me realize that I've never asked you, blog readers. What do you collect?
I've always found myself gravitating toward graphic, geometric color patterns. But it wasn't until I really started pinning away on Pinterest that I realized - I love patterns with red and white stripes.
When you work at a newspaper, you tend to accumulate rubber bands in your desk drawer. (Is this true of other workplaces, as well? Because I never seem to get rubber bands on the paper delivered to my doorstep. Hmm.)
If you know me at all, you know I am gaga over Gooseberry Patch's cookbooks.
My favorite home-improvement store had a great sale on two-packs of glossy black spray paint last week.
I needed some for a specific project (and I'm hoping it will be done in time to write about it tomorrow) that used about 1/16 of one can.
I need some inspiration - what should I do with the rest of my glossy black spray paint?
I don't know what's taken me so long to write about newspaper end rolls, but I'm sorry for holding out on you.
