Recipe for cinnamon- and brown sugar-crusted bacon

When I had my brown sugar and cinnamon out Saturday morning to make Monkey Bread Muffins, I saw this recipe in Gooseberry Patch's "The Christmas Table" and figured I might as well

Recipe for Monkey Bread Muffins

This weekend, I cooked so much I felt like every dish in my kitchen was dirty. It's been a while since I've had time to do that, so it felt great.

What do you collect?

I had a fun conversation the other day about collections.

If you know me at all, you know I am gaga over Gooseberry Patch's cookbooks.

Pondering projects that will use glossy black spray paint

My favorite home-improvement store had a great sale on two-packs of glossy black spray paint last week.

I needed some for a specific project (and I'm hoping it will be done in time to write about it tomorrow) that used about 1/16 of one can.

I need some inspiration - what should I do with the rest of my glossy black spray paint?

End rolls: this blank newsprint is a useful bargain

I don't know what's taken me so long to write about newspaper end rolls, but I'm sorry for holding out on you.
